JOINING US

The Arts Society Beckenham Membership

Our Society has a membership of 280 and we welcome new members, although sometimes we have a waiting list. Membership runs from 1st November each year. For the 2025/2026 season the subscription is £48, with a joining fee of £10 for each new member. There is no discount for joint membership.

Your membership benefits include:

Attendance at a series of superb monthly lectures in convivial surroundings with like-minded people
Access to a programme of cultural visits to London and further afield, organised by the Society
Access to our Study Tours where we examine a subject in more depth
The opportunity to play an active role in the preservation, conservation and promotion of our artistic heritage
Receipt of The Arts Society Review, a quarterly magazine which contains articles on the arts and reports on The Arts Society activities at national and local level
Access to an exciting range of national events and courses which are open to members of The Arts Society such as private views of many of the headlining exhibitions

Visitors are welcome at our Lectures for a maximum of 2 lectures a year, for a Visitors fee of £5. Please note that we cannot accomodate visitors at the December lecture.
